Introduction

Systems Dynamics Research Group was established in 2019 at Imam Javad (Higher Education Institute, taking into account the capabilities of research and education in the field of Systems Dynamics. The group intends to create a complex structure of specialized and applied research in the field of Systems Dynamics with a participatory and team-oriented approach, while helping to expand scientific production and upgrade the institute, to solve complex problems of government organizations and executive bodies and private businesses; and by improving the structures governing socio-economic systems, take an important step in solving the country’s problems. In other words, this group aims to increase the use of Systems Dynamics approach and help solve complex problems of organizations by conducting research using this approach and also to promote and improve decisions at the national and international level by changing the mental model of managers.
Therefore, the mission of the Systems Dynamics Research Group is to “study and research in the field of Systems Dynamics in order to solve organizational, national and international problems.” Based on the above mission, the working areas of the group include conducting studies and applied research projects with a system dynamics approach, holding training courses and specialized workshops on systems dynamics, providing advice and services in the field of analysis of organizations, firms and businesses and publishing research findings and promoting and expanding the field of systems dynamics.

Special Services

  • Collaborate with government agencies and executive bodies and private businesses to create learning organizations

  • Assisting government agencies and executive bodies and private businesses through expert and strategic advice

  • Providing specialized training services in Systems Dynamics and systems thinking to government organizations and executive bodies and private businesses

  • Help identify organizational issues through Systems Dynamics and participatory and team-centered modeling (by involving the organization in identifying issues)

  • Help solve complex problems of government organizations and executive bodies and private businesses through simulation, quantitative and qualitative modeling of Systems Dynamics and group modeling (by involving the organization in problem solving and consensus on policies and commitment to implement them)
